This room bears the name of Jacqueline, Marthe's great-niece. Born in 1922, she knew almost the entire story of the house — from the days of Eugénie and Henri all the way to us, through Marthe and Mado. For every birth in the family, Jacqueline would knit a little set for the baby: each of us has carried a piece of her from our very first days. She passed away in 2018 at the age of ninety-six, and remains the thread that ties together every generation of La Domerie.
