A soft, soothing room, wrapped in shades of green that invite you to unwind and give it all its character. Its view over the garden brings a sense of calm from the moment you wake. Queen bed, a small desk by the window, private bathroom and WC: everything here is made for rest, alone or as a couple, after a day on the paths of the Aubrac.

This room bears the name of Marthe and Albert, who ran the house for half a century, from 1938 to 1988 — the longest presence in our family's history. Through the war and the great years of the Aubrac that followed, they never once closed their door. Marthe had a sweet little habit: she would hide a dozen or so bars of chocolate, of every kind, in her room. One of her grandchildren had figured it out, and would slip in through the window to pinch a few squares.
